COMMISSSION:
With such an impressive site containing such detail to trading the commission fees aren´t as cheap as we would maybe like them to be – stocks and ETF trades are $12.95 for less than 120, and in excess of this the rate is lowered to $8.95, mutual funds are a shocking $49.95 per trade, and options attract a commission of $8.95 plus $0.75 per contract.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Although there is not a large variety of options available for contact, what is available is extremely good, one of the only sites to offer its clients 24 hour phone contact 7 days a week, making them stand out from the crowd, and also contact can be made via email.
TRADE TOOLS & SERVICES:
Offering three different trading platforms to suit beginners through to experts and an array of trading tools with each, as well as the ability to gather market research, charting and screening, streaming data, and a complete section dedicated to detailed research and strategies covering all trading aspects, there is everything required for successful trading all in one site here.
WEBSITE & ACCOUNT SECURITY
Another real positive of the site is their security, not only have they implemented a structure to guard against unauthorized access with SSL encryption technology, additional log in layers, and certificates, but also they protect clients information with restricted access to employees and offer the Schwab security guarantee, allowing you to use there extensive trading platforms in peace of mind.

Commissions and Fees (Pass/Fail) - Pass
Schwab offers good research tools and has acceptable commissions and fees. Schwab loses some marks for a mediocre registration process and charts but I still recommend the service.
